Welcome to The Art of Embodied Teaching, the type of yoga teacher training that brings you deeper into who you are to enrich your teaching style and practice.
This slow flow and mentorship-based yoga teacher training is designed to elevate and inform your teaching and studentship. This virtual training was created for the yoga creative and born out of my love of a slow, embodied and poetic practice. Not only will you cultivate more ways to hold space and serve your students and community but you’ll deepen your own love and commitment to your practice as you go.
My first yoga experience was in a carpeted rowhouse in Washington DC in the early 2000’s. The teacher put on some Bob Marley, we did a little movement and breathed deeply, and I felt a coming home to myself - physically, mentally, emotionally - that I had never experienced. I wanted to be able to offer that experience, that sense of wholeness, to others.
I can promise you that there is power in the practice of being slow, and this training will teach you how to gracefully guide yourself and your students into a more meaningful practice - both on and off the mat.
