Welcome to The Art of Embodied Teaching, a virtual somatic slow flow yoga teacher training and mentorship rooted in presence, poetic movement, and nervous system wisdom.
This training is an invitation to come home to yourself — to deepen your personal practice and refine your teaching through the lens of embodiment, slow flow, and soulful guidance. It’s for the yoga creative, the space holder, the teacher who wants to lead from authenticity rather than authority.
The Art of Embodied Teaching isn’t about rigid rules or getting it “right.” It’s about becoming more you in your practice and your teaching. We explore how to guide from the inside out—through somatic awareness, nervous system attunement, and intentional cueing. You’ll learn to create spaces where students feel safe, seen, and supported in their own bodies.
This mentorship-based journey will help you:
+ Develop your own language and teaching voice
+ Refine your ability to cue from sensation and presence
+ Weave in nervous system–informed practices that regulate and restore
+ Create classes that are nourishing, intuitive, and alive
+ Lead from a place of grounded service—not from the pedestal, but from alongside
At the heart of this training is a somatic approach—one that honors the body’s wisdom, listens for subtle cues, and supports students in reconnecting with themselves through breath, sensation, and stillness. You’ll learn how to co-regulate, to hold space with presence, and to meet students exactly where they are.
We teach what we’re here to learn. And through this training, you’ll grow not just as a teacher, but as a human—learning how to live and lead from your body’s intelligence.
This training was born from my deep love of slow, embodied practice — practice that reveals rather than performs, that soothes the nervous system and reconnects us with what matters. It’s a path of devotion, not perfection. Spaciousness, not striving.
There is power in slowness.
This training will teach you how to guide with clarity and care—helping your students (and yourself) feel more at home in their bodies, and more present in their lives.

“I’ve taken countless courses and trainings and I can say wholeheartedly that MB’s Slow Flow training is of the best. Her presence, guidance and prompting really gets you to the root of your why. I had been struggling with inspiration for quite some time, and her training led me to feel more grounded and creative in who I am as a teacher and who I am in my life. She full embodies all that she teaches and feels like a forever pillar of support. She is now one of my top muses. If you are on the fence this was a full body “yes” for me.

a yoga teacher training that brings you deeper into who you are to enrich your teaching style and practice
“This training was everything I hoped it would be and more. I came for a more specialized training in teaching Slow Flow Yoga classes and left with that knowledge plus deep explorations of my own teaching style, my personal mission, and an appreciation for a slower pace of life.
It's a testament to the space Mary Beth creates that I felt safe and held by her and our whole group and completely supported as I experimented and grew as a teacher and as a human. This is an experience I will cherish forever.”

“My recent Embodied Teacher Training was all that I had hoped for. I found myself at a crossroads to slow my personal life way down while embracing and embodying my most true self. It was divine timing that I stumbled across MB’s training. It was incredibly inspiring on so many levels but MB’s guidance as a teacher and mentor always leaves you wanting more. I found this training to be applicable for everyday living, not just teaching yoga. Embodiment is a life practice we could all use more of.”
