deep breaths and little steps
Having a week where I’m hearing -
Oh hi, you.
I missed you.
I love you.
Just me to me.
Haven’t heard these words in awhile and I’m not good at forcing anything. (Like anything at all.) And honestly I haven’t slowed down enough to hear them.
Coming back to our house in Evergreen has been necessary but coming home to myself? It’s everything.
Deep breaths and little steps.
“The body is our house—and how we live in it and where we occupy it are uniquely ours, as well as being part of the common human experience. The body is a treasure trove and an exquisite vehicle for our practice of waking up and being with what is.” — Jill Satterfield
