I’m Mary Beth, but you can call me MB. I’m a yoga teacher, coach, and Integrative Somatic Practitioner. Originally from small-town Iowa, I now live on a mountaintop in Colorado with my husband, our son, and two crazy bulldogs.

I’m the founder of Embodied by MB — a collection of offerings rooted in presence, nervous system wisdom, and soul. This includes virtual slow flow classes, a somatic-based teacher training, a signature online coaching program, and retreats that feel like coming home.

With thousands of hours of yoga training, life coach certification from Martha Beck, and advanced study in somatic healing through The Embody Lab and Integrative Wellness Academy, my work bridges movement, mindfulness, and deep inner listening. It’s not about performance — it’s about presence.

I believe in the power of slowness, in rituals that ground us, and in the quiet strength that comes from being fully in your body. My hope is that every space I create—whether a class, training, or conversation — helps you feel more at home in yourself.

I love a good cup of coffee, fresh air and fresh flowers, road trips and Sunday mornings with my family. And all humans and things that are full of soul.

To embody a soulful, vibrant way of living—one that is fully all in yet tenderly in relationship with life’s uncertainty, impermanence, and natural rhythms. Authenticity with a splash of color, in every shade and every moment.

To invite people into yoga, meditation, and journaling practices that gently guide them home—to their highest, most embodied, and alive selves.

To mentor yoga teachers in uncovering their unique gifts and voices, empowering them to hold spaces that feel inviting, inclusive, and deeply sincere for their students.

To remind us all that perfection is a myth. Change is our nature, and shifting our minds and hearts is part of the dance. What truly matters is staying in relationship with ourselves—honoring our own ebb and flow.

To live courageously, with vulnerability as strength and authenticity as the path forward.

“MB was born to share this work. Embodiment is her jam: she walks the walk. She embodies her teachings, and the teachings of those she cherishes, and has found a way to translate this into a simple yet profound workshop series. She asks you to delve deeper into your most important relationship - the one you have with yourself. And she's right there with you, walking the walk too.”
