how i’m refilling my cup - as an extroverted introvert

I’ve been an extroverted introvert since I was a little kid. My friends used to laugh about how I’d be solid for about three hours of playtime and then it was time for a rest. And as a mama and entrepreneur, I’ve gotten a bit better about managing my energy, owning both my “yes” and my “no” and reassuring my people I love them as I retreat — sometimes taking five minutes and sometimes needing a day.

So yes, I live for connection and community and I also know I refill solo. Just the way I’m wired. Here’s some ways I’m refilling my cup as of late — river rocks, iced matcha, quality time with quality humans and books on trauma (I know, I know 😆).
