where you come home to yourself
I'm Mary Beth LaRue, a somatic practitioner, yoga teacher and founder of Embodied by MB. My work lives at the intersection of nervous system healing, embodiment and recovery. I help women reconnect with themselves through the wisdom of the body, creating lives that feel more grounded, spacious, and deeply aligned.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing doesn't come from trying harder, it comes from learning to listen to the wisdom of your body.Through slow, intentional somatic work and nervous system education, I guide women out of survival mode and into a life that feels more grounded, spacious and deeply aligned.
Whether I'm leading yoga classes, facilitating retreats, teaching
somatic practices, or working one-on-one with clients, my intention is the same: to help women trust themselves again, regulate from within and live embodied both inside and out.
I’m so glad you’re here.

" I had done years of talk therapy before I found this work, and I could explain my patterns perfectly. I just couldn't stop living inside them. The first session, we didn't talk much at all. a few minutes of just noticing my breath, noticing where I was bracing.
By the third or fourth session, something had shifted that I still can't fully explain in words, which feels like the point. I started trusting my body again instead of treating it like something to manage. ”
