My teaching style is a creative, meditative, somatic slow flow — anchored by breath, backed by a beat. Expect intentional movement, steady rhythm, a little sweat, and soulful depth. Often we wind down with yin or restorative, sealing it all in.

My classes are a welcoming space with a big dose of soulfulness and heart. Expect a creative, meditative slow flow and a beat to set the metronome for the practice and get you breathing deeply. I create an embodied experience for you to come home to yourself physically, mentally and emotionally.

My first real experience of embodiment was in a carpeted yoga room in a Washington D.C. rowhouse. I was moving through a heavy season of depression and anxiety, charging ahead in my life without ever really pausing. But something shifted that day. I didn’t have the language for it then, but I felt it — I came home to myself.

Since that moment, embodiment — in all its forms — has become the thread running through my life’s work. The body holds a kind of wisdom the mind can’t always reach, and returning to that wisdom again and again is a practice I’m devoted to.

My classes are an open, welcoming space with a big dose of soul and heart. Expect a creative, meditative slow flow — breath-led and backed by a beat — with moments that ground, move, and restore. My hope is always this: that you come back to yourself, just a little more, every time you land on your mat.
