The Art of Embodied Teaching: A Slow Flow Yoga Teacher Training
A slow flow and mentorship-based yoga teacher training designed to elevate and inform your teaching and studentship. This virtual training was created for the yoga creative and born out of my love of a slow, embodied and poetic practice. Not only will you cultivate more ways to hold space and serve your students and community but you’ll deepen your own love and commitment to your practice as you go.
My first yoga experience was in a carpeted rowhouse in Washington DC in the early 2000’s. The teacher put on some Bob Marley, we did a little movement and breathed deeply, and I felt a coming home to myself - physically, mentally, emotionally - that I had never experienced. I wanted to be able to offer that experience, that sense of wholeness, to others.

“This training was everything I hoped it would be and more. I came for a more specialized training in teaching Slow Flow Yoga classes and left with that knowledge plus deep explorations of my own teaching style, my personal mission, and an appreciation for a slower pace of life.
It's a testament to the space Mary Beth creates that I felt safe and held by her and our whole group and completely supported as I experimented and grew as a teacher and as a human. This is an experience I will cherish forever.”

“Through the work we did, I felt a huge shift in not only my teaching but my personal practice as well. One of the most incredible things about this program with MB was the space that she held for us to feel safe as we all shared, evolved, and connected with each other over our passion for yoga and sharing that with others. I still keep in touch with many of the women I went through the program with and they all continue to serve as a constant source of inspiration for me.”
