on embodied

Practicing and teaching virtually has become one of the most grounding parts of my life. There’s something deeply nourishing about meeting in real time, from wherever we are — just as we are. Pajamas, coffee, dogs nearby, kids wandering in, journals open — all of it belongs.

My classes are an open, welcoming space with a big dose of soul and heart. Expect a creative, meditative slow flow — breath-led and backed by a beat — with moments that ground, move, and restore. My hope is always this: that you come back to yourself, just a little more, every time you land on your mat.

The Embodied Membership is a space to return to your body again and again through live and on-demand practices that support regulation, resilience, and soulful connection — on and off the mat.

On Embodied

Embodied means meeting yourself exactly where you are, with no agenda to change, fix, or improve. It's about slowing down enough to notice what your body is telling you, and learning to trust that wisdom.

My classes weave together slow, intentional movement, breath awareness, and deep listening. Every practice is designed to help you land in your body—not as a task, but as a homecoming.

Whether you're moving through a full flow or finding stillness in restoration, the intention is the same: presence. Connection. Regulation. The kind of practice that actually sticks because it feels like what you needed, not what you thought you should do.

Slow Flow + Restore
#MB-SLOW-FLOW

Slow Flow + Restore

The first half is steady, intentional movement. Nothing rushed. The second half is pure surrender: bolsters, blankets, and the kind of stillness that actually restores.

I pair every class with a curated soundtrack that supports your breath and helps you land in your body. This is the class people come back to when they need to feel held.

"To listen is to lean in, softly, with a willingness to be changed by what we hear."

"The stress melts away as I sink into each pose. I redid the replay and the benefits didn't diminish."

Embodied Vinyasa
#EMBODIED-VINYASA

Embodied Vinyasa

This is my signature class: creative sequencing, breath-led transitions, and music that moves with you. Think slow vinyasa with soul, not speed.

Expect to move and sweat, but also to pause, feel, and reconnect. Every class has a theme or intention woven through it. Some days it is grounding. Some days it is expansion. You will know when you arrive.

"Knowing how you actually want to feel is the most potent form of clarity that you can have."

Shorter Practices

Twenty minutes on your mat can change the whole texture of your day. These classes are designed for exactly that: a real practice in a compressed window.

Choose from 20, 30, or 45-minute sessions. Same depth, same intentionality, same MB. Just condensed for the days when time is the constraint, not desire.

"Flow isn't about nailing a perfect plan every day. It's about staying connected to yourself, even when things feel messy or unpredictable."

About Mary Beth

I'm Mary Beth, most people call me MB. I'm a yoga teacher, coach, and integrative somatic practitioner, living on a mountaintop in Colorado with my husband, our son and two very lively bulldogs.

My work weaves slow, intentional movement, mindfulness, and deep inner listening. I've studied extensively in yoga, coaching and somatic healing, and my approach isn't about performance or fixing. It's about presence, regulation, and learning to trust the body's wisdom.

I hold a 200-hour RYT certification through Yoga Alliance, and I'm trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Functional Somatic Syndrom therapy (FoST). I've led workshops and private sessions for athletes, performers, and people navigating life transitions.

Before diving fully into somatic yoga and movement, I spent years in leadership coaching and organizational development. That work taught me how much our nervous systems are shaped by our environments, relationships, and the stories we tell ourselves. Now, I bring that whole-system lens to every class: the mat is never just about the asanas.

When I'm not teaching, I'm usually in the garden, on a hike with my family, or reading about how the body holds wisdom. I'm obsessed with the intersection of movement, nervous system regulation, and what it actually means to feel at home in your own skin.

You can use your laptop, tablet, smartphone, or Apple TV. We recommend using a bigger screen and wearing headphones for the full experience. Turning on video gives your teacher an opportunity to offer personalized adjustments.

Student Testimonials

A few notes from Embodied students.

about me

I’m Mary Beth — most people call me MB. I’m a yoga teacher, coach, and integrative somatic practitioner, living on a mountaintop in Colorado with my husband, our son and two very lively bulldogs. For almost twenty years, I’ve guided people back to themselves through yoga, teaching everywhere from festivals and retreats to intimate trainings and quiet, devoted spaces.

My path into embodiment began in a season of unraveling, when something unexpected opened in a small yoga room and I felt myself return to myself. That experience lives at the heart of everything I offer.

My work weaves slow, intentional movement, mindfulness, and deep inner listening. I’ve studied extensively in yoga, coaching and somatic healing, and my approach isn’t about performance or fixing — it’s about presence, regulation, and learning to trust the body’s wisdom. I believe in slowness, grounding rituals and the quiet strength that comes from truly inhabiting your body.

  • Live virtual yoga classes are taught and taken via live interactive two-way video from the comfort of your own home (or anywhere!). That means the teacher can see you in real-time, and offer personalized instruction and tips as necessary. All you need is some space, a laptop, phone, tablet, or a TV with a streaming device and Internet connection.

  • Classes are listed on the top of the Livekick.com homepage or App, and on the Teacher pages. When you select ‘Book Class’ a checkout screen will appear. We recommend using a bigger screen and wearing headphones to get the full experience. Turning on video is the best way to immerse yourself in our global community; it also gives your teacher an opportunity to offer personalized adjustments or feedback.

  • To take live classes: If you are using a Mac, we recommend using the Livekick Mac OS app, but you can also use the Zoom app. If you are on an Apple mobile device that runs iOS, we recommend using the Livekick iOS app, but you can also use the Zoom app. If you are on an Android mobile device or Windows operating system computer, you will need to use the Zoom app in order to take live classes.

On-demand classes are played in the Livekick app on Apple mobile devices, or within your browser on any other device.

A mat is the only equipment you’ll need! If you have props, they're good to bring as well—teachers may suggest props for certain poses. You can create DIY props with regular household items: Books for blocks, a tie for a strap, and a rolled-up blanket for a bolster.
