Practicing and teaching virtually has truly changed my life. It’s such a gift to connect with this community week after week — from wherever we are in the world, just as we are. Pajamas, coffee in hand, your dog curled up next to your mat, your little one joining in, journal nearby — all of it is welcome.

My teaching style is a creative, meditative, somatic slow flow — anchored by breath, backed by a beat. Expect intentional movement, steady rhythm, a little sweat, and soulful depth. Often we wind down with yin or restorative, sealing it all in.

The Embodied Membership gives you access to unlimited live classes and a library of 450+ On Demand practices. You’ll also receive surprise offerings to support you in deepening your embodied life — on and off the mat.

What’s included:
Six or more live classes with me a month
450+ and growing on demand videos
Monthly intention setting workshop
Early access to all of my retreats, workshop and trainings

My first real experience of embodiment was in a carpeted yoga room in a Washington D.C. rowhouse. I was moving through a heavy season of depression and anxiety, charging ahead in my life without ever really pausing. But something shifted that day. I didn’t have the language for it then, but I felt it — I came home to myself.

Since that moment, embodiment — in all its forms — has become the thread running through my life’s work. The body holds a kind of wisdom the mind can’t always reach, and returning to that wisdom again and again is a practice I’m devoted to.

My classes are an open, welcoming space with a big dose of soul and heart. Expect a creative, meditative slow flow — breath-led and backed by a beat — with moments that ground, move, and restore. My hope is always this: that you come back to yourself, just a little more, every time you land on your mat.

“I’m a yoga teacher and take a lot of online classes to stay inspired, fresh and learn from other great teachers.

When I take class with you it’s because I want to fill my OWN cup. Every time I take a class with you I get a level of presence and embodiment that I just don’t get with other teachers and I get that EVERY time I practice with you.”

“I love Slow Flow into Yin. It brings me back into my body and connects me with my inner self. It is the perfect combination of flow, stillness, sweat, beats and breath. I am so grateful to MB for providing me with this incredible gift.”

Shorter Practices

20, 30 and 45 minute soulful slow flow yoga practices for a reset whenever you need it.

  • Live virtual yoga classes are taught and taken via live interactive two-way video from the comfort of your own home (or anywhere!). That means the teacher can see you in real-time, and offer personalized instruction and tips as necessary. All you need is some space, a laptop, phone, tablet, or a TV with a streaming device and Internet connection.

  • Classes are listed on the top of the Livekick.com homepage or App, and on the Teacher pages. When you select ‘Book Class’ a checkout screen will appear. You’ll need to either create an account if you don’t already have one, or log into your existing Livekick account. Then you’ll enter your payment details, and purchase your ticket. Immediately upon purchase, you will receive a calendar invite in your email inbox, and you’ll also see the class listed in your account on Livekick.com or the Livekick App.

  • To join a class log-in to your Livekick account and click Go Live button. You can use your laptop, tablet, smartphone, or Apple TV. We recommend using a bigger screen and wearing headphones to get the full experience. Turning on video is the best way to immerse yourself in our global community; it also gives your teacher an opportunity to offer personalized adjustments or feedback.

  • To take live classes: If you are using a Mac, we recommend using the Livekick Mac OS app, but you can also use the Zoom app. If you are on an Apple mobile device that runs iOS, we recommend using the Livekick iOS app, but you can also use the Zoom app. If you are on an Android mobile device or Windows operating system computer, you will need to use the Zoom app in order to take live classes.

On-demand classes are played in the Livekick app on Apple mobile devices, or within your browser on any other device.

A mat is the only equipment you’ll need! If you have props, they're good to bring as well—teachers may suggest props for certain poses. You can create DIY props with regular household items: Books for blocks, a tie for a strap, and a rolled-up blanket for a bolster.
